Brenders, Carl
Carl Brenders is a world renowned wildlife artist from Belgium. As a student of the Fine Arts Academy of Antwerp (and Berchem), Brenders honed his skills of high-realism to become one of the finest painters of the natural world. He began his career illustrating animals for publications such as Nature’s Hidden World, educating with stunning detail the habits and habitats of the creatures of the European countryside. It was only natural to progress into the fine art world.
Carl Brenders’ paintings have received awards in numerous art shows and can be found in many prestigious collections. He is found in The Ford Collection, The National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Woodson Art Museum (to name a few). He was also conferred the titles of Featured Artist and Guest Artist from the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in Charleston, SC, the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY and Bennington Center for the Arts, VT.
