Carl Brenders Biography
As a student of the Fine Arts Academy of Antwerp, Brenders honed his skills of high-realism. His career began while illustrating animals for publications such as Nature’s Hidden World. This book teaches with stunning detail the habits and habitats of the creatures of the European countryside. Therefore it was perfect for an artist to truly understand his subject. It was only natural to progress into the fine art world. Indeed he became one of the finest painters of the natural world.
Carl Brenders’ paintings receive awards in numerous art shows and can be found in many prestigious collections. He is collected by The Ford Collection, The National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Woodson Art Museum. His accolades include the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in Charleston, SC.
